SO it has been quite some time since my last post. I've been going through some stuff recently in my life that's been pretty difficult. And even though im not all the way through the storm yet, i have more peace knowing the Prince of peace is in the boat steering.
To give you guys an insight into my struggles it was basically all the issue of prioities. Deciding what is more important than something else. Well in my case i had a priority that was above God. And as Mr. Bryson McGuire wisely says "our God is jealous God and sometimes He will take those things out of our lives to show us He deserves the top spot." And God has the right to doesnt He? The God of this unexplainable universe, who created us, SAVED us, and leads us this the crap of this life!? Of course He has the right to do whatever the stink He wants! But how easy is it to say that rather than mean it with your heart?
I've been challenged recently to be honest with God in my life. Hahaha how dumb is it when we pray and we try not to talk about certain stuff thats in our life because we dont want God to know? O WAIT! Like i was saying i was challenged to pray with honesty and to not make my prayer routine, like a box on a checklist that i just need to cross off. He desirves that attention and praise that i should give Him, and to be honest how can I grow closer to Christ if i am trying to hide stuff from Him?
I know it seems like ive jumpe between like 3 different ideas but my main point is this, when hard times come into our life we can do a couple of things. If were Christians than we can: 1. Continue on our path to create even harder times 2. Curse God and turn away 3. Pretend that everythings ok and not get right 4. Ask God for forgiveness and wisdom. I choose number 4!! When those hard times come I need to be that person who calls on God first before asking myself what can i do or someone else what they can do! And those hard times are going to come but as we are pulled through them we become equiped to help others who go through those same struggles. Im actually probably going to do a post on stuggles because thatd be fun to write about right?? tehe...
Anyway just rememeber what Paul said to the Corinthians "Therefore, my beloved brethern, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your work is not in vain in the Lord" 1 Corinthians 15:58
